Description
The 5th annual Northwest Permaculture Convergence will be held October 5-7, 2012 at Fort Flagler State Park, near Port Townsend Washington.
We bring together people from all over the Cascadia Bioregion; from southern oregon to Anchorage, Alaska. This year's theme is Permeating The Mainstream. We bring regional planning officials together with experienced permaculturists, all in a spectacular setting overlooking the Salish Sea.
More than forty workshops including:
- seed propagation
- herbal medicine
- edible perennials
- food forests
- issues affecting regional agriculture
- urban farming
- ongoing-project reviews
- panel discussion on permaculture in public planning
- and more.
Weekend passes cost $75, daily passes are $45 meals from local food included. Evening entertainment. Camping and dorm housing available.
