#worldlocalizationday is back this June!

For the fifth year in a row, we are inviting groups, individuals and networks to join in the celebrations for World Localization Day (WLD) on June 21st and during the entire month of June.

The #localization ‘movement of movements’, from farmers markets, local business alliances, community gardens, eco-villages, transition towns, farm to table initiatives, seed libraries, repair cafes, revival of indigenous and local knowledge systems, decentralized renewable energy projects and more, is growing stronger.

WLD offers us a wonderful opportunity to amplify the solutions – and bring the economy home.

Our  website: worldlocalizationday.org provides a wide range of free resources and inspiration, including:

  • free films and guidance for public screenings
  • how to host a local food feast
  • Localization Action Guide
  • WLD media kit (including logos)

Or if you’re already involved in a localization event or activity in June (online or in person), why not link it to World Localization Day so we can help each other spread the message further?

Finally, a big thank you to the many legendary groups and individuals from over 49 countries who have already been part of WLD celebrations – let’s make it bigger than ever this year!
