Join Permaculture Educator Paul Paine for a day at Ecoworks in Nottingham, to learn about how you can create a volunteering programme that supports the physical and mental wellbeing of your volunteers.

  • Learn about how Ecoworks has created a volunteer programme for vulnerable adults and what they have put in place at the project to support them.
  • Find out about their popular Dig and Dinner programme, how and why they set it up and the impact that it has had on their volunteers and wider community.
  • Take a 90 minute tour of the site, learning about their 30 year history, current projects and see their unusual perennials, our straw bale buildings, water saving systems and forage areas.
  • Explore how you could develop a volunteer programme that focuses on wellbeing at your project.
  • Experience a delicious Dig and Dinner style lunch using produce from the garden and enjoy plenty of opportunities to share and network with other participants.

Places are limited to 30 people, to ensure that all participants get their individual needs met.
