Our inaugural Permaculture Festival of Ideas launches on May 4th with a special global online screening of David Holmgren’s film Reading Landscape. David will join us as well as film-maker Dave Meagher. The Permaculture Education Institute is a Major Project Partner in the production of this film, which has been lovingly completed after the tragic death of film director/producer, Dan Palmer.
The film warmly invites you to walk with David Holmgren across Djaara Country, as he shares his insights and discusses his unique approach to reading landscape, a wealth of knowledge and wisdom developed over forty years. David’s approach contributes to re-embedding reading landscape into our cultures as a known and fundamental human capacity, providing an opportunity for humans everywhere to deepen their connection to place.
There will be two screenings of the film:
- SESSION 1: May 4th 7-9:30 pm AEST – David Holmgren will be joining this session
- SESSION 2: May 5th 9-11:00 am AEST
