The international Permaculture Design Certificate Course (PDC), batch of 2026, is now open for registrations at the Geeli Mitti CoE (Centre of Excellence), to be held from 14th Mar. to 29th Mar’26 (16 days).
Located within the ecologically diverse Naina Devi Bird Conservation Zone in Nainital, India and surrounded by gurgling streams and a Himalayan oak forest, the Geeli Mitti Centre for sustainability is a unique permaculture farm set-up to offer:
– High quality international PDC (Permaculture Design Certificate) courses and demonstrate permaculture practices and principles in action.
– Extensive demonstrable natural building techniques and workshops.
– Community services and projects spread across the region.
A PDC is a life-changing experience that is defined by the teachers and the space. If you’ve been waiting for a workshop to learn the ins and outs of systematically designing a habitat or farm space and living a sustainable lifestyle with knowledge of climatology, water, energy, waste, soil, growing food, solar passive design and more, then this is it. The course will be taught by acclaimed Permaculture teacher, consultant, train-the-trainer, Shagun Singh. There will also be guest lectures.
No prior experience or training of any sort is required for this PDC.
There will be extensive theory sessions, demos and practicals.
It is suitable for all fitness levels and age.
