In this course, you’ll learn how to apply regenerative practices and permaculture techniques to design and grow a garden that optimises the time and energy you put in, in order to produce high yields of delicious, nutritious food.

Back again by popular demand… you will be supported by expert permaculture educator Abi Mordin in four live training sessions, and will have a private community space for your cohort on the Permaculture Association’s online Community Hub.
“For me, food is the intersection between environmental justice and social justice.

So those are the two things I’m probably most passionate about in life and the things that have driven me to do all the things that I’ve pretty much ever done.

I care deeply about the environment, about biodiversity, about ecology, about soil health, plant health, animal health and planetary health.

And I also believe that we ought to have a fair, equitable and just society.

So environmental justice and social justice are my twin drivers, and food is really the intersection for both of those.”

Abi is a founder member of Propagate.org.uk and a seasoned food activist. She has been working across community and local food projects since the mid-90s, and is passionate about food sovereignty and resilience. An experienced grower, facilitator, educator and researcher – Abi’s inclusive and collaborative attitude encourages everyone to be involved in thinking about and creating sustainable food systems. She lives in Dumfries and Galloway where most of her projects are based and has 2 grown up children who have left home.
