Northey Street City Farm is located 5 minutes from the city centre, on a floodplain on the banks of Breakfast Creek in Windsor, Brisbane, Australia. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land, the Turrbal & Jagera people.

The Farm was founded in 1994 by a group of local residents who wanted space to grow their own food while educating others in how to do it. From a bare site in 1994 it has transformed to a vibrant green oasis, welcoming thousands of visitors every year.

Northey Street City Farm is now a not-for-profit organisation that provides a demonstration and education site for people from all walks of life to volunteer and learn about permaculture principles and practices.
