This is to introduce our Sunshine Coast permaculture community to the Return to the Village event (the Australasian Permaculture Convergence 2027, Woodfordia) and to find out how you can be part of it. No prior skill necessary, just an enthusiasm to get involved, make new friends and create something amazing together.
We currently have an incredible team of Permaculture Australia volunteers working on the event from around Australia and meeting on Zoom often, but we want to expand on this with a SE QLD local circle as the event is taking place in Woodford.
We hope to meet regularly for a really engaging event planning/building experience and collaborate with a diverse array of contributors ….. and we can never pass up the chance to make new friends locally.
What: Sunshine Coast Permaculture Gathering – Intro to Return to the Village event.
When: 9:30am – 12:30pm followed by a short bushwalk.
Where: Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens – 51 Palm Creek Rd, Tanawha QLD
Meet at: The ‘Friendship Shelter’ (if this is taken, look for us near-by)
Bring: Something for a potluck tea party – A plate of local or homemade food or drinks to share, and some picnic ware so we have no waste. There are chairs and tables at the park, so no need to bring bigger items.
