A visit to a suburban property that has had a permaculture design implemented. The property features a solar system, multiple water tanks, a glasshouse and a seed saving box, a pond, a vegetable patch with wicking beds and fruit trees, chickens, beekeeping, and a food forest.

Morning Tea will be provided.

The garden design continues to be tweaked to achieve optimal output with minimal maintenance and easy workspaces:

  • more beds have been created
  • garden is in full growth mode, pumpkin & cucumber arches & a grape

Overhead structures have been installed. Rotational Chook runs have been established; the new rockery is now well planted.

2 types of ponds, in-ground & above-ground to suit each type of garden layout – the rear garden exhibits fruit trees, vegetable beds, a pond, bee hives, a work area & shed, on the way to the front food forest, we’ll pass the 3 sisters patch in full production mode, through to more fruit trees, herbs, pond & chook run.
