Thailand Permaculture Convergence — Chanthaburi, Thailand

We are having a great response to our upcoming permaculture convergence Design for the Future which will be the first in person get together in three years!

People are joining us from as far away as India and we are discussing many activities – such as how to make an earthship, how to build a great organic vegetable garden, and practical and delicious ways to integrate permaculture principles into our lives. We would love to hear your ideas – the convergence is about everyone participating and sharing. 

A highlight of all convergences is a market to share, give away, swap or sell. We are planning to hold this on Saturday the 21st. Everyone is invited to bring something to share – it could be something you have grown or made. If you don’t have stuff to share bring your enthusiasm to see what others are doing and sample the creations and gifts brought by others.

Prior to the event we are also planning visits to local places of interest – tentatively we are thinking of an ancient durian orchard which is being cultivated on self sufficiency principles and the honey bee learning center. This would be either on Thursday 19th or Friday 20th May depending on how the rest of the programme shapes up.

The private rooms and houses at the resort will be available on a first come first served basis so please book as early as you can if you want one of these.

Costs
The basic charge for simple meals is 75 baht, the cost for the Saturday night dinner and party 300 baht, plus there are event costs of 500 baht.

Children are free.

• Private bungalow 800 baht
• Villa room 900 baht.
